Mystic Prophecy is a German heavy/power metal band from Bad Grönenbach, Bavaria, founded in 2000 by vocalist R.D. Liapakis and bassist Martin Albrecht. Their sound blends melodic power metal with hard-hitting thrash elements - closer in spirit to American acts like Iced Earth than to the typical European power metal template. Over 25 years the band has released 12 studio albums, with Liapakis remaining the sole constant member throughout numerous lineup changes.
