Naxatras is a hard psychedelic rock band from Thessaloniki, Greece, active since 2012. The trio - John Delias (guitar/vocals), John Vagenas (bass/vocals) and Kostas Charizanis (drums) - later expanded with keyboardist Pantelis Kargas. Rooted in the progressive and space rock of the late 1960s and '70s, they record on fully analog equipment and are known for high-energy live sets backed by a hypnotic video wall. With five studio albums and tours across Europe and Australia, they rank among the most internationally visible acts in the Greek underground.
Naxatras released their fifth studio album, V, on February 21, 2025, expanding their sound with world music elements including Eastern flutes, strings and tribal percussion.
