Neelix is the alias of Hamburg-born producer and DJ Henrik Twardzik (b. 1975), who began making music in 1998 and released his debut album Resident in 2003. His 2005 record No Way to Leave is widely credited with shaping what fans call the 'Neelix Sound' - a driving blend of progressive trance, progressive house and electro that sits somewhere between underground and dancefloor. Over two decades he has headlined festivals on five continents, from Tomorrowland and Boom to Nature One and Parookaville, and his tracks appear on labels including Spin Twist Records and Paul Oakenfold's Perfecto imprint.
