About

Neuroticfish is a German electronic music project founded in the mid-1990s by Sascha Mario Klein, based in Bochum. Drawing on EBM, futurepop and synthpop - with nods to Depeche Mode, Nine Inch Nails and Skinny Puppy - Klein built the project's early following entirely via the internet before the term 'online promotion' existed. Since 2012, Henning Verlage has co-produced the records; the duo released their seventh album, 'The Demystification of the Human Heart', in December 2023.
