Nico Santos (born Nico Wellenbrink, 7 January 1993 in Bremen) is a German singer-songwriter who grew up on Mallorca and later studied sound engineering in Cologne. He broke through in 2017 with the solo single "Rooftop", which hit the top five across German-speaking Europe and reached number one in the Czech Republic, and has since released three studio albums - "Streets of Gold" (2018), "Nico Santos" (2020) and "Ride" (2023) - all charting in the German top three. Beyond his own releases, he has co-written songs for Helene Fischer, Mark Forster and Bushido, and served as a coach on The Voice of Germany.
