Tribute concert: In memory of Lemmy with Motörblast & Nitrogods
Tribute concert honouring Lemmy, the iconic frontman of Motörhead, with performances by Motörblast and Nitrogods at Kesselhaus.
Nitrogods are a German hard rock trio from Hannover, formed in 2011 by guitarist Henny Wolter (ex-Thunderhead, Primal Fear), drummer Klaus Sperling (ex-Primal Fear, Freedom Call) and singer/bassist Claus "Oimel" Larcher. Rooted firmly in the tradition of Motörhead and early AC/DC, the band has released five studio albums - most recently 'Valley of the Gods' (2024) on Massacre Records - and built a loyal European following through relentless club and festival touring. Their 2017 album 'Roadkill BBQ' marked their first entry into the official German album charts.
Nitrogods played Musikzentrum Hannover in February 2026 as part of their Valley of the Gods Tour 2026, supported by The Nifties.
The band kicked off the Valley of the Gods Tour 2026 with a show in Burglengenfeld in November 2025.
A scheduled appearance at the Pyraser Classic Rock Night in July 2025 was cancelled due to a surgical procedure for drummer Klaus Sperling.
Nitrogods released their fifth studio album 'Valley of the Gods' on October 25, 2024, via Massacre Records, accompanied by a music video for 'Left Lane to Memphis'.
The band announced the Valley of the Gods Tour 2026 across Germany, promising to perform songs never previously played live.
