About

NOFX was an American punk rock band from Los Angeles, active from 1983 to 2024. Led by bassist and vocalist Fat Mike (Michael Burkett), the band built a career entirely outside the major-label system - selling over eight million records worldwide on Fat Wreck Chords and Epitaph - and became one of the most successful independent acts in punk history. Their 1994 album Punk in Drublic remains a genre landmark, and over four decades they released fifteen studio albums while playing more than 2,000 shows across 33 countries.
