Katarzyna Nosowska (born 1971 in Szczecin) is a Polish singer, songwriter and author, best known as the frontwoman of the alternative rock band Hey, which she co-founded in 1992. With Hey she recorded 11 studio albums that defined Polish rock of the 1990s; her parallel solo career spans nine albums ranging from electronic pop to sung poetry, earning her a record number of Fryderyk awards. Beyond music, she is a bestselling author and one of the most recognisable cultural figures in Poland.
