About

Oathbreaker is a Belgian post-black metal band from Ghent, formed in 2008 and signed to Deathwish Inc. The four-piece - vocalist Caro Tanghe, guitarists Lennart Bossu and Gilles Demolder, and drummer Wim Coppers - grew out of the city's hardcore scene and the Church of Ra collective alongside Amenra. Their third album Rheia (2016), produced by Jack Shirley, pushed well beyond conventional heavy music and earned the band wide critical recognition.
