Orláith Forsythe is one half of the Belfast folk-rock duo Dea Matrona, which she forms with Mollie McGinn. The two met at an Irish-language singing competition and started out busking on the streets of Belfast. Their debut album "For Your Sins" (2024) reached number one on the UK independent albums chart, and the duo has performed at Glastonbury and The Royal Albert Hall.
