PAIN is a Swedish industrial metal project founded in 1996 by Peter Tägtgren - multi-instrumentalist, producer, and frontman of death metal band Hypocrisy. Tägtgren originally built it as a one-man studio experiment, blending heavy guitar riffs with electronic and techno elements; it has since grown into a full touring act. The project gained wider recognition with albums such as 'Rebirth' (2002) and 'You Only Live Twice' (2011), and returned in 2024 with its ninth studio album 'I Am' via Nuclear Blast after an eight-year gap.

The 'I Am Tour' kicked off its Nordic leg in Peter Tägtgren's home region of Dalarna, Sweden, in October 2024.
PAIN played the 'I Am On Tour 2025' date in Bratislava (Majestic Music Club) on February 13, 2025, with support from Oceans and Shattered Mind.
With the 'I Am Tour' winding down, PAIN announced only two remaining shows in 2025 as of mid-June 2025.
