About

Parov Stelar is the stage name of Austrian producer and DJ Marcus Füreder (born 27 November 1974 in Linz), widely credited as a founding figure of electro swing - a genre that welds vintage jazz and swing to modern electronic beats. His breakthrough came with the 2009 album Coco and its viral track "Catgroove"; the 2012 double album The Princess cemented his international standing with hits like "Booty Swing" and "All Night". Beyond music, Füreder is an active visual artist whose paintings have been shown in galleries across Austria.
