Petra Frey (born 27 June 1978 in Wattens, Tyrol) is an Austrian Schlager and folk-pop singer who has been active since 1993. She represented Austria at the Eurovision Song Contest 1994 in Dublin with "Für den Frieden der Welt" and went on to release twelve studio albums. Beyond performing, she is known to Austrian TV audiences as a jury member on the ORF talent show "Die große Chance" and as a multiple winner of the ZDF-Hitparade.
Petra Frey released a new single "Halt dich einfach an mir fest" on 12 September 2025, produced by Björn Patrick Pfeiffer.
Since September 2014, Petra Frey has served as a jury member on the ORF talent show "Die große Chance".
Petra Frey won the Austrian dance competition show "Dancing Stars" in 2012, partnered with Vadim Garbuzov.
