Pezet (born Jan Paweł Kapliński, April 18, 1980, Warsaw) is one of the most influential figures in Polish hip-hop, known for introspective lyrics that draw on urban life and personal experience. He first gained wide recognition through the Pezet/Noon duo, whose albums 'Muzyka klasyczna' (2002) and 'Muzyka poważna' (2004) set a new benchmark for lyrical depth in Polish rap. His 2019 comeback album 'Muzyka współczesna' debuted at number one and went triple platinum, cementing his status across generations of listeners.
