Philipp Poisel (born 18 June 1983 in Ludwigsburg) is a German singer-songwriter who writes and performs almost entirely in German. Discovered by Herbert Grönemeyer in 2007 and signed to his Grönland Records label, Poisel built his reputation on intimate, poetic songs that sit somewhere between folk, acoustic pop and indie. His 2010 album "Bis nach Toulouse" went platinum in Germany, and the live record "Projekt Seerosenteich" (2012) reached number one on the German charts.
Poisel released a new single titled "Schön" (official video published approximately one month before July 2026).
Poisel completed his "Mit Wind in den Haaren" solo summer tour 2025, which included sold-out outdoor shows across Germany.
Poisel's Advent concert series in November-December 2025 sold out across Germany and Austria, including Vienna's Konzerthaus Mozartsaal.
The live album "Neon Acoustic Orchestra" was released on 8 March 2024 via Holunder Records (distributed by Sony), featuring brass and string arrangements of songs from the 2021 studio album "Neon".
Poisel toured Germany in October 2024 with the full Neon Acoustic Orchestra, performing at major venues including Cologne Philharmonie and Frankfurt Alte Oper, most of which sold out.
