Pokey LaFarge (born Andrew Heissler, 1983, Bloomington, Illinois) is an American singer-songwriter and guitarist who built his career around pre-war American sounds - country blues, Western swing, jazz, and ragtime. He came to wider attention in 2012 when Jack White invited him on tour and signed him to Third Man Records, and has since released ten studio albums that chart a restless musical evolution from vintage Americana toward Latin rhythms, funk, and electronic textures. His 2024 album Rhumba Country and the forthcoming Rent Money (September 2026, Boxer Boy Records) confirm his reputation as one of the most genre-fluid figures in contemporary roots music.
