Portugal. The Man is an American rock band from Wasilla, Alaska, formed in 2004 and now based in Portland, Oregon. Their sound moves freely between psychedelic rock, indie pop and progressive textures, built around frontman John Gourley. The 2017 single "Feel It Still" became a global hit and earned them a Grammy for Best Pop Duo/Group Performance, while their tenth album SHISH (2025) marks a return to their Alaskan roots.
