About

Pothead is a Berlin-based rock trio formed in the early 1990s by Seattle natives Brad Dope (vocals, guitar) and Jeff Dope (bass), who relocated to Germany after a European trip and recruited drummer Sebastian Meyer in 1994. Their sound draws on stoner rock, grunge and hard rock, and the band has operated fully independently - releasing all albums on their own Orangehaus label - since around 2000. Their 1997 album *Learn to Hypnotize!* is widely considered their landmark record, and a 2006 Rockpalast concert cemented their cult status in the German rock scene.
