Metal evening with Pro-Pain, Draindown, and Declass in Freiburg.
Pro-Pain is a New York City hardcore/groove metal band founded in 1991 by vocalist and bassist Gary Meskil and drummer Dan Richardson, both veterans of Crumbsuckers. The group built its reputation on a raw blend of hardcore punk aggression and heavy groove metal, releasing sixteen studio albums over a 35-year career - the latest, Stone Cold Anger (Napalm Records, 2026), their first in eleven years. Europe has long been their second home, with annual touring across Germany, Austria, and beyond keeping them a fixture on the continent's heavy music circuit.
Pro-Pain released Stone Cold Anger on May 15, 2026 via Napalm Records - their sixteenth studio album and first new record in eleven years.
Former guitarist Eric Klinger returned to the band for the recording of Stone Cold Anger, also serving as producer and mixer at EKG Studio.
Pro-Pain toured Germany in May 2026, with confirmed dates in Osnabrück and Essen.
Pro-Pain completed their annual European autumn tour in November 2025, with stops in Munich, Ingolstadt, and Bischofswerda.
Pro-Pain played the Szczecin festival in Poland on June 26, 2026, continuing their summer European run.
