About
Psyche is a Canadian dark synth-pop band founded in Edmonton, Alberta in 1982 by brothers Darrin and Stephen Huss, now based in Germany. Darrin Huss has been the sole constant member across the band's four-decade run, with Stephen Huss passing away in 2015. Their 1986 album 'Unveiling the Secret' - recorded in Paris on New Rose Records - became a cult landmark of the genre, with tracks like 'Prisoner to Desire' and 'The Saint Became a Lush' still staples at dark 80s club nights worldwide. The band has toured Europe relentlessly and charted in the German Alternative Charts multiple times.
