Robyn Hitchcock is an English singer-songwriter and guitarist who emerged from the late-1970s post-punk scene with his band the Soft Boys. He went on to a long solo career marked by surreal, witty lyrics and a jangly, psychedelic guitar style. His 1984 album "I Often Dream of Trains" is among his most celebrated works.
