Rolf Hoppe was a German actor best known for playing the villainous prince in the fairy-tale film Drei Haselnüsse für Aschenbrödel (1973). He came from East Germany and worked across theatre and film throughout his long career. This Czech-German co-production remains his most internationally recognised role.
