Rosenstolz was a German pop duo from Berlin, formed in 1991 by singer AnNa R. (Andrea Rosenbaum, 1969-2025) and musician-songwriter Peter Plate. Over two decades they placed five studio albums at No. 1 on the German charts, becoming one of the most commercially successful German-language acts of their era. The duo disbanded in 2012; AnNa R. died unexpectedly in Berlin on 16 March 2025, aged 55.
