About
Rotersand is a German electronic act founded in September 2002 by vocalist Rascal Nikov and musician/producer Gunther Gerl, with producer-DJ Krischan Jan-Eric Wesenberg joining shortly after. The trio built their name in the European futurepop and EBM scene with a string of German Alternative Charts hits, including two #1 singles, and festival appearances at Wave-Gotik-Treffen, M'era Luna and Infest. After a years-long hiatus caused by Rascal's serious health issues, the band returned to full activity and released their seventh studio album, 'Don't Become the Thing You Hated', in August 2025.
