Ruby Fields (born Ruby Phillips, 1998) is an Australian indie-rock singer-songwriter from Cronulla, southern Sydney, who started busking at 13 and writing songs even earlier. She broke through with her 2018 debut EP 'Your Dad's Opinion for Dinner' and cemented her reputation with the 2021 debut album 'Been Doin' It for a Bit', which went straight to number one on the ARIA Albums Chart. Her second album, 'Small Achievements' (April 2026), draws on five years of life in the Northern Rivers of New South Wales - floods, loss, and the everyday wins she witnessed working behind the bar.
