Ruffiction is a German rap crew formed in 2006, consisting of Crystal F (Hauke Schmidt), Crack Claus and Arbok 48 - three MCs from northern Germany who built their following entirely on the independent label Ruffiction Productions. Their sound draws on horrorcore and beatdown hardcore, with deliberately over-the-top lyrics that the group frames as dark entertainment rather than advocacy. The album Ruffnecks (2014) was their first to chart in Germany, reaching #21, and Frieden (2015) pushed them into the top 10.
Member Arbok 48 announced in a podcast that three major live shows are planned for 2026 to mark the crew's 20th anniversary.
