Rummelsnuff is the stage name of Roger Baptist (born 14 July 1966 in Großenhain, East Germany), a Berlin-based electropunk musician, lyricist, and bodybuilder. Trained as a bassoonist and later a bouncer at the Berghain club, he launched the Rummelsnuff project in 2005, crafting a singular sound he calls "Strommusik" - raw electronic beats paired with German-language songs about sailors, workers, and weightlifters. Regularly performing alongside his musical partner Christian Asbach, he has built a devoted underground following across the German-speaking world.
