RY X is the stage name of Ry Cuming (born 6 May 1988, Woodford Island, Australia), a GRAMMY-nominated singer-songwriter and producer based in Los Angeles. His music sits at the intersection of indie folk, electronic and ambient - spare, atmospheric songs built around his distinctive falsetto and a strong sense of emotional vulnerability. He broke through internationally with the 2013 EP 'Berlin', followed by the debut album 'Dawn' (2016), and has since accumulated over a billion streams while collaborating with the LA Philharmonic, London Philharmonic, Ólafur Arnalds, Drake and John Legend.
