About

Saga is a Canadian progressive rock band formed in 1977 in Oakville, Ontario, built around the Crichton brothers - guitarist Ian and bassist Jim - alongside vocalist Michael Sadler and keyboardist Jim Gilmour. Their melodic, keyboard-driven sound earned them a devoted following across Europe and North America, with over ten million albums sold and performances for more than 15 million people in over 20 countries. Albums like 'Worlds Apart' (1981) and 'Behaviour' (1985) remain cornerstones of the prog-rock canon, and the band has continued releasing new material into the 2020s, most recently the acoustic-flavoured 'Symmetry' (2021).
