Sam Wilkes is an American bassist, producer and arranger based in Los Angeles. His music blurs the lines between jazz, funk and contemporary R&B, with a strong focus on rhythm and collaborative improvisation. He works closely with Sam Gendel, Louis Cole and Jacob Mann, and has also played with Chaka Khan and Mk.gee.
