Saturnus are a Danish death-doom metal band from Copenhagen, active since 1991 (originally as Asesino, renamed in 1993). They built their reputation on a melancholic blend of slow, heavy riffs, atmospheric keyboards and vocals that shift between clean singing, death growls and spoken word - a sound crystallised on their 1997 debut 'Paradise Belongs to You'. Five studio albums in, and signed to Prophecy Productions, they remain one of Scandinavia's most respected names in the genre.
Saturnus announced they will join Paradise Lost as direct support on the 'Ascension of Europe' tour Part 2 across Europe in February and March 2026.
