SBB (originally Silesian Blues Band, later Szukaj, Burz, Buduj - "Search, Break, Build") is a Polish progressive rock trio founded in 1971 in Siemianowice Śląskie by keyboardist and vocalist Józef Skrzek, guitarist Apostolis Anthimos and drummer Jerzy Piotrowski. Blending prog rock with jazz fusion, blues and symphonic elements, the band became one of the most celebrated rock acts in 1970s Poland and toured extensively across Europe and the United States. Despite a hiatus after 1980, the original lineup reunited permanently from 2000 onward and continues to record and perform, releasing new material as recently as 2026.
