Scorpions are a German hard rock band founded in Hannover in 1965 by guitarist Rudolf Schenker. Over six decades they have sold over 100 million records worldwide, making them the most successful rock act to emerge from continental Europe. Their catalogue spans arena anthems like "Rock You Like a Hurricane" (1984) and the post-Cold War ballad "Wind of Change" (1990), which alone shifted over 14 million copies. The current lineup - Schenker, vocalist Klaus Meine, guitarist Matthias Jabs, drummer Mikkey Dee and bassist Paweł Mąciwoda - continues to tour arenas globally.
Scorpions released "Coming Home Live", a 19-track live album recorded at their 60th anniversary concert in Hannover on July 5, 2025, with guests including Alice Cooper and Judas Priest.
The band released "From the First Sting", a 16-track best-of collection, on October 17, 2025 as part of their 60th anniversary celebrations.

A biopic titled "Wind of Change", directed by Alex Ranarivelo and produced by FOX Entertainment Studios and Warner Bros. Home Entertainment, began filming in London with a planned 2026 theatrical release.
The band postponed their Las Vegas residency after drummer Mikkey Dee was hospitalised with sepsis; singer Klaus Meine also missed several April shows due to laryngitis.
