About

Senyawa is an Indonesian experimental duo formed in Yogyakarta, consisting of vocalist Rully Shabara and multi-instrumentalist Wukir Suryadi. Their music fuses traditional Javanese elements with noise, metal and free improvisation - Suryadi plays self-built string instruments while Shabara pushes his voice to extreme limits. They have collaborated with artists worldwide and released music on labels across multiple continents.
