About
She Past Away is a Turkish darkwave and post-punk duo from Bursa, formed in 2006 by vocalist and guitarist Volkan Caner and drummer/synthesist Doruk Öztürkcan. Singing exclusively in Turkish, they built a sound rooted in the cavernous guitar textures of 1980s gothic rock - drawing comparisons to Bauhaus and The Sisters of Mercy - while weaving in electronic rhythms and minimalist lyrics. Their 2012 debut album Belirdi Gece brought them international recognition, and they have since toured extensively across Europe and North America, becoming one of the most prominent acts in the contemporary darkwave scene.

She Past Away's fourth studio album Mizantrop was released on Fabrika Records on 6 February 2026, with a physical CD/vinyl edition following on Metropolis Records in May 2026.
