ShitKid

About

ShitKid is the stage name of Swedish musician Åsa Söderqvist (born 1992, Kramfors), who launched the project in 2015 and records lo-fi indie rock, punk and pop - largely on her own, at home. Her music, released via Stockholm label PNKSLM Recordings, earned praise from NPR, The FADER and i-D, and drew admirers including Iggy Pop and Billie Joe Armstrong. After stepping away from music in 2020 to train as a nurse, she returned in 2026 to mark ten years of ShitKid with a sold-out European tour and two career-spanning compilations.
