Slash is an American rock guitarist, best known as the lead guitarist of Guns N' Roses, with whom he recorded the iconic album Appetite for Destruction (1987). After leaving the band, he pursued a solo career and fronted the group Slash's Snakepit and later Velvet Revolver. He is recognized for his blues-influenced playing style and his signature top hat look.
