SLIFT
French psychedelic rock band SLIFT performs at Hamburg's Knust club.
SLIFT is a French psychedelic rock trio from Toulouse, formed in 2016 by brothers Jean Fossat (guitar, vocals, synths) and Rémi Fossat (bass), together with drummer Canek Flores. Their sound weaves space rock, krautrock and heavy psych into long-form, hypnotic compositions, and their 2020 double album Ummon brought them international recognition. After signing with Sub Pop, they released the acclaimed Ilion (2024) and their fourth album Fantasia (June 2026), which marks a leaner, more direct direction without losing any of the band's raw intensity.
SLIFT released their fourth album Fantasia on June 5, 2026 via Sub Pop Records, receiving widespread critical acclaim.
SLIFT announced a North American and European/UK headline tour for fall 2026 in support of Fantasia, including a Paris show at L'Olympia.
SLIFT debuted 'A Storm of Wings' as the first single from Fantasia.
SLIFT released Ilion, their Sub Pop debut, on January 19, 2024 - a double album of eight tracks averaging over eight minutes each.
SLIFT completed a North American tour with Meatbodies in October-November 2024, their second US tour.
