About
Smoke Blow is a hardcore-punk band from Kiel, Germany, active since 1997. Over seven studio albums - from the debut 'Smoke's A-Blowin' Black As Coal' (1999) to 'Colossus' (2010) - they built a cult following across the German-speaking world with a sound that crosses hardcore, metal, stoner rock and raw punk. In 2011 the band deliberately quit the album-tour treadmill; since then they play only a handful of shows per year, which makes each appearance an event in itself. Their 2003 album 'German Angst' remains the fan favourite, and the track 'Circle of Fear' from it appeared on the Tony Hawk's Underground video game soundtrack.
