Soen is a Swedish progressive metal band formed in 2010 by drummer Martin Lopez - a former member of Opeth - and vocalist Joel Ekelöf. Their sound weaves together heavy riffs, atmospheric textures and intricate rhythms across seven studio albums, from the debut Cognitive (2012) through to Reliance (2026). The current lineup also includes guitarist Cody Ford, bassist Stefan Stenberg and multi-instrumentalist Lars Åhlund.
