Solar Fake is the Berlin-based electro project of Sven Friedrich, who founded it in 2007 alongside his work in Zeraphine and the earlier Dreadful Shadows. The music sits at the crossroads of synthpop, electro-industrial and dark electro, with Friedrich writing, producing and performing everything himself. Since the third album "Reasons To Kill" (2013), every Solar Fake release has charted in Germany; the seventh album "Don't Push This Button!" (2024) reached #6 on the official German charts and #1 in the DAC, AAC and GEWC specialist charts.
