About

Solitary Experiments is a German electronic band founded in 1994 in Frankfurt (Oder) by Dennis Schober and Michael Thielemann. Working in the futurepop, EBM and synthpop space, they built a loyal following across Europe and the USA through releases on Out of Line Music and relentless touring alongside acts like Icon of Coil, Neuroticfish and Blutengel. Their catalogue spans over a dozen studio albums, from the 1999 debut Final Approach through to Transcendent (2022), and they remain one of the most consistent acts in the European dark-electro scene.

    Solitary Experiments are confirmed for Amphi Festival 2026 in Cologne (25-26 July).

  • 2024-09

    The 30th Anniversary Compilation, featuring 16 brand-new remixes by artists including Neuroticfish, Mildreda, CRYO and Xotox, was released on Out of Line Music on 13 September 2024.

  • 2022-10
