Stanisław Brzozowski (1878–1911) was a Polish philosopher, literary critic, and novelist, one of the most significant thinkers of the turn of the 20th century in Poland. He is the author of the novel Flames (Płomienie, 1908) and numerous essays on Polish culture and the philosophy of action, blending influences from Marxism and Nietzsche.
