Subway To Sally is a German medieval metal band from Potsdam, active since 1992. They blend folk instruments - bagpipes, hurdy-gurdy, shawm, violin - with heavy guitar riffs and gothic elements, a sound that earned them the "Mittelalter-Rock" label. With 15 studio albums and well over 100 live dates a year, they are one of the most consistently active acts in the German-speaking rock scene. Their 2024 album "Post Mortem" on Napalm Records confirmed the band had no intention of slowing down after earlier retirement rumours.
The band released three acoustic "Nackt III" versions of older tracks - "Post Mortem", "Kleid aus Rosen" and "Feuerkind" - as singles in 2026, previewing their NACKT III - Lügen & Legenden tour.

The band performed at the 70000 Tons of Metal cruise in January 2025, their fourth appearance on the event (previous: 2013, 2016, 2019).
