Taake / Impalement - En skog av nidstang Tour 2026
Taake and Impalement bring their "En skog av nidstang Tour 2026" to Berlin's Musikbrauerei for a night of black metal.
Taake is a Norwegian black metal band from Bergen, active since 1993 - the sole constant member is Hoest (Ørjan Stedjeberg), who writes all the music and handles most of the recording himself. The name, meaning 'fog' in Norwegian, is a deliberate nod to the mist that clings to Bergen's seven surrounding mountains. Across eight studio albums, the band has built a reputation for raw, uncompromising black metal that occasionally folds in unexpected elements - banjo, flamenco guitar - without softening its edge. The 1999 debut Nattestid ser porten vid remains a landmark of the Norwegian black metal canon.
Taake announced the En Skog Av Nidstang European Tour, supporting their upcoming ninth studio album of the same name, with dates across Germany, Scandinavia, Czech Republic, Slovakia, Austria, Slovenia, Italy, the Netherlands, and Belgium.
Details of the ninth album En Skog av Nidstang were revealed, with the first single 'Einstoeingen og Eg' released; the album is set for release via Dark Essence Records.
Taake released Et hav av avstand, their eighth studio album and first in six years, on 1 September 2023 via Dark Essence Records.
Taake completed a 14-date European tour in March 2024, supported by Nordjevel and Austria's Theotoxin.
