Terry Hoax is a rock band from Hannover, Germany, founded in 1988 by Oliver Perau and the Wichary brothers. They broke through in the early 1990s with the Depeche Mode cover 'Policy of Truth', which became one of the most-played videos by a German band on MTV, and their 1992 album 'Freedom Circus' reached #7 on the German charts. After splitting in 1996 and reuniting in 2008, the band - now back with founding guitarist Martin Wichary - released their eighth studio album 'Celebrate Nothing' in June 2025.
