About

The Australian Pink Floyd Show is a Pink Floyd tribute band founded in 1988 in Adelaide, South Australia - originally under the name Think Floyd - that relocated to the UK in 1993 and became the first Pink Floyd tribute act to reach arena headliner status worldwide. Over nearly four decades they have performed in more than 35 countries, sold over five million tickets, and were invited to play at David Gilmour's 50th birthday party, where both Gilmour and Richard Wright joined them on stage. Their productions replicate the full scale of Pink Floyd's later tours: precision lasers, large-format video projections, inflatables, and a 10-piece band that includes three backing vocalists.
