About

The Black Dahlia Murder is an American melodic death metal band from Waterford, Michigan, active since 2001. Signed to Metal Blade Records, they built one of the most consistent catalogs in extreme metal - ten studio albums, eight of which charted on the Billboard 200. After co-founder and frontman Trevor Strnad died in May 2022, guitarist Brian Eschbach stepped up to lead vocals and the band pressed on, releasing their tenth album Servitude in 2024.
