About

The Clockworks are a four-piece alternative rock band from Loughrea, County Galway, now based in London. Formed by James McGregor (vocals/guitar), Sean Connelly (guitar), Damian Greaney (drums) and Tom Freeman (bass), they built their reputation on sharp post-punk songwriting and an intense live show. Their debut album 'Exit Strategy' (2023), recorded at Abbey Road Studios with producer Bernard Butler, earned praise from BBC 6Music and BBC Radio 1, and led to support tours with Pixies in the US and Johnny Marr in Europe. Their second album 'The Entertainment' was released on 27 March 2026 via V2 Records.
