The Delines

About

The Delines are an American country-soul band from Portland, Oregon, formed in 2012 by novelist and songwriter Willy Vlautin (formerly of Richmond Fontaine) and vocalist Amy Boone (The Damnations TX). Their sound weaves Southern soul, Americana and vintage R&B around Boone's world-weary voice and Vlautin's character-driven narratives about life on the margins. The debut album Colfax (2014) earned wide critical acclaim, and the band has built a particularly devoted following in Europe despite remaining a cult act in the US.
